SCORE provides a wide range of services including training, webinars, online workshops, courses on demand, and a library of online resources.
SBDCs provide assistance, counseling, and training to start, run, or grow your business.
The Illinois Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at College of Lake County provides small business owners and entrepreneurs in the community with resources and support for success.
The Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity (DCEO) offers tailored assistance for minority, veteran, and woman-owned businesses.
VBOCs provide business training, counseling, and resource partner referrals to transitioning service members, veterans, National Guard & Reserve members, and military spouses interested in starting or growing a small business.
WBCs provide free to low-cost counseling and training to assist women in starting and growing small businesses, as well as introducing them to resources specifically available to women-owned businesses.
In addition to serving women entrepreneurs, the Women’s Business Development Center also serves the needs of underserved entrepreneurs, including low-income entrepreneurs.
